Meet Diate
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, I grew up as the oldest of three boys in a family that valued resilience, loyalty, and hard work. Those early experiences shaped both my leadership style and my desire to support others through challenge and change. As a Black, openly gay man, I recognize the layered realities that identity can carry, particularly within communities where conversations around mental health and sexuality have often been silenced. These experiences have fueled my passion for reducing stigma, promoting self-acceptance, and creating therapeutic spaces where clients feel affirmed, respected, and empowered to grow.
